Scheduled to take place from 13th to 17th July 2025 in Kigali, Rwanda, this fully funded conference offers a unique platform for individuals working or studying in the field of HIV to engage with cutting-edge research and innovations.
For the first time, Africa will host the IAS Conference, with Rwanda showcasing its evidence-based approach to combating HIV/AIDS. This event will highlight advancements in HIV science, especially those led by African researchers. Participants can also apply for the IAS Conference Scholarship, which covers travel, visa costs, accommodation, and a stipend.

Eligibility Criteria:
Applications are open to individuals who meet the following requirements:
Must be 18 years or older by 13th July 2025.
Actively working, volunteering, or studying in the field of HIV.
Priority will be given to:
Researchers from low-income and lower-middle-income countries.
Key populations and individuals living with HIV.
Young researchers and early-career investigators under 35 years of age.
Individuals who have never received an IAS Scholarship before.
Abstract presenters whose submissions are accepted for the conference.
Important Dates:
22 January 2025: Application submissions close.
February/March 2025: Review and selection process.
Early April 2025: Announcement of results.
July 2025: Conference participation in Rwanda.
